About DevDex
DevDex turns any GitHub username into a portfolio page worth sharing — a game-style world built live from your repos, with nothing to deploy and nothing to maintain.
What we believe
Developers already do the hard part in public: the code is on GitHub. What undersells them is the wrapper — a file listing sorted by an algorithm, with no screenshots, no demo buttons, and nothing that says "start here." DevDex exists to fix the wrapper without asking you to redo the work.
How DevDex is built
DevDex is a free, open-source web app with a deliberately small
footprint. There is no database: pages render from the live GitHub
API on every visit, and your customizations — featured projects,
screenshots, demo videos, themes — are stored in a .devstore.json file inside a GitHub repo you own. If you stop using DevDex tomorrow, you lose nothing. Read more in
the portfolio guide or the privacy policy.
Who makes it
DevDex is built and maintained by an independent developer, and its own storefront is a live example of the product: devdex.tech/arcofchanu.
