Setup Instructions

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/KunalGupta25/Login-Register.git
   

2. Open in your IDE

   • Import the project into your favorite Java IDE (such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA) as a Maven or Dynamic Web Project.

3. Configure your server

   • Make sure you have Apache Tomcat or any compatible servlet container installed.
   • Deploy the project to the server.

4. Database setup (MySQL)

   • Install MySQL and create a database (e.g., login_register).
   • Import the provided SQL file (if available) or create necessary tables as per your application's requirements.
   • Update your database connection details (username, password, database name) in the project configuration or properties file.

5. Run the application

   • Start your servlet container (Tomcat).
   • Access the application in your browser at: http://localhost:8080/Login-Register (update context path if needed).

Usage

• Register for a new account using the Register page.
• Log in with your credentials on the Login page.
• After logging in, you will be redirected to the welcome/dashboard page.
